Open Letter to Ms. Gorgeous – Pep Talk Tuesday
Dear Ms. Gorgeous,
You are gorgeous, but you don’t know it. You think everyone else has got “it” better. Better smile. Better eyes. Better curves. That’s so untrue. You are uniquely you. Have you ever stopped to wonder why bees make a honey so sweet for you to enjoy? The God who made the bees also made you. Just by being yourself your inner sweetness attracts other people to you. Just like the bees, God made you to produce and to bring glory to him by what you do (John 15:4) (Isaiah 43:7).
You have an inner sweetness that no one can steal. Even when you don’t feel like you are worth it, God knows you are. Like a bird singing a new melody the morning, God’s love is afresh each day. He never changes, never turns his back on you (Hebrews 13:8).
Stop chasing after the Ms. America and Ms. Universe titles and looks. Focus on the title you already have; the one your creator crowned you with: Ms. Gorgeous.
